I have version of the white tiger balm product, commonly sold in stores such as Boots the chemists. However, the bottle of tiger balm I have, was procured in Goa – India, and its instructions differ slightly from the UK counterpart.
The instructions read:
Ayurvedic proprietry medicine Tiger Balm – White
For the symptomatic fast and effective relief from headaches, stuffy nose, insect bite, itchiness, muscular aches and pains, sprains and flatulence!
Apply Tiger Balm gently on the affected area
I’m intrigued that it cures flatulence, but given its properties and exothermic effect, I am fearfull of trying it. I’m almost certain that smearing clove, mint and cinnamon oil on your back passage, no matter how gently, is not going to be a soothing experience.
